Of riding and writing

Here's a link to the class presentation I made at the conclusion of our Readings course at UNT the fall semester 2012. In this course, I drew a comparison between riding fences and working my way through graduate school.
I believe my former full time horse life provided me many skills that have helped me through the years. A primary one is to throw one's heart over the fence ahead. Keep the red flag on the right and all will be well.
